Our Journey

In 2019, Chad and Bethany packed up all their belongings, including two kids, two cats, one dog, eleven chickens, and a fish, to move to Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, which was 7 hours away, and over the Mackinac Bridge, from where they previously resided. Why, you may ask? The Upper Peninsula offers tranquility and beauty, unlike any other location in Michigan. They have both chosen to live rurally and enjoy all that nature has to offer.

To make the move even more adventurous, they purchased an abandoned home that had been vacant for nearly 12 years. The house was only partially built, and left to rot in the elements. But the couple is hard-working and knew they could transform it into a beautiful home for their family. And they did. But now the 40 acres surrounding the house are prime for a new adventure - a lavender farm - that will allow people to experience the peaceful setting and healing benefits of nature, as well as the amazing opportunities that living rurally can offer.

However, they are not entering this venture lightly. Both have established careers - Chad is the General Manager at a local manufacturing facility, and Bethany is a Community Relations Manager at a rural fiber Internet Company. Owning a business of their own ahs been discussed at length for many years. With Chad's extensive background in business and manufacturing and Bethany's well-established career in graphic design and marketing, they are posed to achieve their dream of owning their own business. We invite you to visit as we grow from a small-scale farm to a destination, and enjoy the journey with us year after y ear!

A new adventure awaits.
